“Phoenix” (2014), directed by Christian Petzold and starring Nina Hoss, Ronald Zehrfeld und Nina Kunzendorf is a crime melodrama about a Jewish woman returning from the concentration camp Ausschwitz to postwar Germany. She searches for her former husband, who does not recognize her, but wants her to play the role of his presumed dead wife.

Join us for an exciting edition of the Deutscher Filmklub all year long, where we will show our top 10 German film favourites from 1930-2015. From classics to contemporary movies, come for the screening and enjoy the discussion in German and English afterwards!
