The light productions on the world-famous landmarks, monuments, buildings and squares of the German capital make the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS one of the most popular light art festivals in the world. Together with national and international artists, the Festival of Lights Team transforms Berlin into one big shining stage – the whole of Berlin lights up! We tell stories, draw attention to what is hidden in the neighbourhoods, present cultures and arts, transport messages and themes. Magic moments in Berlin!

At the Festival of Lights Berlin 2020 not only a lot is new, but also a bit different – because for the first time we will take place in a Special Edition.
Our motto for this special format is: „Together we shine“. Therewith, we are enlightening from the 11. – 20. September Berlin already for the 16th time!
We invite you to discover the capital on dreamy light walks. Along well-known landmarks, through your neighbourhoods and, for the first time, also virtually from afar.
