PLOT : Jesminder “Jess” Bhamra is a teenager with a passion for football and a dream of playing like her idol, David Beckham. However, her traditional Punjabi family has different expectations, hoping she will focus on school, family, and responsibilities. When Jess is discovered by Jules, a talented player on a local women’s team, she secretly joins and begins balancing her love of the sport with the pressures of home life. As friendships deepen and tensions rise, Jess finds herself navigating family expectations, cultural identity, and first love while chasing a dream that challenges the boundaries placed around her and her future.
