Study Visits for Academics – Artists and Architects • DAAD 2026

DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service offers a Study Visit grant to university instructors working in any of the following creative disciplines:

• Architecture (Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning)

• Fine Art, Film, Design, Visual Communication

• Performing Arts (Drama, Direction, Musicals, Dance, Performance Studies, Choreography, etc.)

• Music

These study visits can run between 1 and 3 months in length and are intended to facilitate artistic collaboration with a state or state-recognized university in Germany .

Application deadline: May 15, 2026. Applications submitted to this deadline are for stays taking place between October 1st, 2026 and January 31st, 2027.
