Polygonia

Under her alias Polygonia, Munich-based artist Lindsey Wang sculpts a colourful world enriched with complex sound design and intricate rhythm play. Drawing from a background in acoustic instruments, she moves beyond rigid categorization, creating distinctive compositions flush with culturally rich cross-genre references.

Elements of techno, bass music, breakbeat, house, and IDM intertwine throughout her productions, with nature serving as a recurring backdrop for her entrancing, focus-driven sound. Her fluid approach to electronic music is best heard on albums like 2025’s Dream Horizons, released via Dekmantel Records, and her latest album, Ceaseless Motion, released on Timedance.

In 2021, she formed the electric jazz trio Lyder and continues to explore the intersection of electronic and jazz through her collaboration with drummer Simon Popp.
