Call for Applications: Falling Walls Lab Montreal

DAAD is pleased to be one of the co-presenters of a Falling Walls Lab in Montreal on April 1, 2026.

Falling Walls Labs take the form of a pitch competition in which an interdisciplinary pool of students and early-career professionals get three minutes to present their breakthrough ideas to positively impact science and society to a jury.

The winner of Falling Walls Lab Montreal receives a trip to Berlin to take part in Falling Walls Science Summit between November 6 – 9, 2026. While in Berlin, the winner will present their pitch as part of a competition for the prestigious Breakthrough Winner prize in the Summit’s Emerging Talents category. In addition to this competition, Summit Attendees get a valuable introduction to Germany’s research and innovation landscape.
