A new research project\, “Goethe’s\r\nLibraries in Weimar”\, aims to fill the gap by cataloging\r\nGoethe’s personal books as well as those he borrowed from\r\nthe court library in Saxe-Weimar\, where he lived and worked.\r\nThe Speaker:\r\nDr. Stefan Höppner is head of the research project "Writers'\r\nLibraries" at the Marbach Weimar Wolfenbüttel research\r\nassociation\, a cooperation of three of Germany's leading literary\r\narchives. He teaches German literature at the University of\r\nFreiburg and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University\r\nof Calgary's School of Languages\, Linguistics\, Literatures and\r\nCultures.
