Elderly Swede Pettersson, farmer and inventor, lives alone, with his pets, in a lonely but idyllic area. One day, his neighbour forces upon him a small tomcat found in the forest. When the little animal suddenly begins to speak, Pettersson’s life is completely altered. Now he’s no longer alone. His sometimes high-spirited, sometimes highly sensitive little friend makes for some surprising adventures and learns that a pleasure shared is a pleasure doubled.
